Processing and quality certification

All our herbs and botanicals are collected exclusively by hand. After collection all produce is dried in two electronically controlled, 25 m2 chambers, ensuring rapid drying while controlling required levels of humidity.

Part of the dried oregano and sage is distilled in steam distillers, from which the essential oils are produced.

The remaining amount of the dry plant is thoroughly separated from the useless parts, disinfected in special freezers at -40°C and vacuum-packed for optimum preservation.

Before sold on the market, samples of our products are analyzed by the Department of Pharmacy, University of Athens, for quality assurance. A quality certificate is included in the shipment of each product to the consumer.
